The interesting thing is that, when a nurse I know was in Iraq, the local population was extremely intolerant of any action/potential harm to healthcare workers. They had extremely elevated opinions of our healthcare professionals, particularly considering the help they brought to the people of Baghdad. I suspect many would be angry to know that a highly skilled nurse was killed and not made available to deploy and ply their craft in the Middle East.

As for the angles worked by the prosecution, I think their best bet is to keep this thing as simple as possible and present the panel (jury) with a very calm and reasonable accounting of the case. After all, it speaks for itself.

Wonder how the “defense of others” he’s purportedly using will help with his murder charge for the nurse practitioner he shot and killed.
Also, if he uses “defense of others”, will they reclassify this terrorism as terrorism and not “workplace violence”?
Just gets worse and worse…

Not far enough, but a first step.

Perhaps, for a next step, they will let scouts who are still active when they turn 18 continue as leaders in their program. Moving from an Eagle to Assistant Scoutmaster would not only benefit the individual who has already proven himself, but provide a positive example to both the troop and the regional / national level organization.

Familiarity is the best tool to fight bigotry.

In my opinion, this is a good step but not far enough!
The graphic is effective and showing the lack of logic in the councils decision. The most disturbing part of the lack of adult homosexual inclusion is that it is probably linked the delusional idea that gay people are pedophiles.

Without the Patton/Pyle juxtaposition, the entire infographic falls apart. You’ll just have to accept the word “prestige” as the amount of ego stroking that occurs.

I think it’s a small price to pay for the amount of joy that I bring to your daily life.

While I rarely differ with you, I’m constrained to do so this time on the issue of prestige. Money is always an issue, which is why we go to work in the morning. But prestige? Not so much.
